2026 has been a remarkable ministry year already, but we’re just as eager as you are to get back to playing in the creek! With Staffers arriving next week for orientation, the Lord has us queued up for a full Summer of Camping Ministries!

Please pray for this year’s Summer Staff Family as the Lord begins to align our hearts together for service. Also as He prepares us, but for endurance for the entire season.

This year we have some New AND Returning groups coming to serve with us. Please pray with us over the hearts of each Camper, Counselor, Chapel Speaker, Game Director, Worship Leader, and Bus Driver - That the Lord will work mightily in their lives…

Not only has The Nehemiah Project been an exciting opportunity for SoLC Alumni, but it generated a certain buzz in and around our own community!

Since Summer Bible Camp at SoLC has historically been exclusive for the groups that commute in, we are excited to finally have an opportunity for families in our area to be a part of the action!

We can’t do what we do without you!

With hands and feet on the ground, families willing to fund a camper’s tuition for Camp, people helping to provide supplies, and regular financial contributions that help us keep the lights on - God ALWAYS provides through His people!!

There are a number of ways to be involved with THIS Summer!

• Amazon Supply List: CLICK HERE to see a “wish-list” for cleaning, snack-shop/cafe, and gaming supplies - Your gift of any of these items helps us more efficiently “stretch” the Lord’s resources.

• Sponsor a Camper: Help relieve the financial burden from a family who’s children might not have the opportunity to come to Camp. CLICK HERE to make a contribution online or mail in donations to P.O. Box 73, Patrick Springs, VA 24133

• Turn-Over Team: Come help us clean the dorms and hotel rooms between each ministry week! As you can imagine, our staffers are going to be worn out just keeping up with campers! This special ministry team helps us get all of the rooms ready for the next week of camp to arrive. Please CONTACT US to be a part of this team!

• Mowing/Landscaping Team: Come help us wrangle, manage, and manicure the landscape to give campers a fresh-trimmed outdoor experience! Bring your weed-eater or backpack sprayer and drop-in almost anytime throughout the summer to help us keep the grass under control! Come help once, or as many times as you’re led. • Sponsor a Staffer: Summer Camp Staff not only go through a rigorous process to qualify to serve with campers for the summer, but they also make some pretty big financial sacrifices to do so. Truly a missionary experience, each of our staffers “raise their own support” to help them save like they would through a traditional summer job. • Supply Running Team: Since our Summer Schedule is packed pretty tightly, from time to time we may need help picking up supplies. Our supplies typically come from stores like Sam’s Club, our pick-up locations could be places like Winston Salem, Martinsville, Floyd, and anywhere in between. Please CONTACT US if you are willing to be on a list of people we can call on to help pick up supply orders!

Second Year in the Saddle!

THE DORMS ARE FULLY OPERATIONAL!!

We broke in BOTH floors of the dorms earlier this year and we’re super excited to make this entire space available to our Camp weeks. With the new and improved “adult-sized” bunk beds, we have the ability to sleep 160 people in this building alone, nearly DOUBLING last year’s capacity!

WE’RE NOT DONE YET!!

Over the last few months we began the restoration of the swimming pool. With quotes as high as $500,000 to get things done, our on-the-ground team has decided that if we roll up our sleeves and get to work, we can save a LOT of money for the ministry. With that, there are still going to be some major expenses to get the pool up an running again. With concrete, fencing, supply/storage structure, plumbing, and plastering work; we’re close to $150,000 in total to have the pool ready for SUMMER 2027! Be on the lookout for special fundraising events on the other side of Summer Camp 2026!
