Day Seven (Friday 11/3/2023)

Es Viernes!

This week has absolutely flown by, and its been an experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything!

A small team arrived today to join our group after serving with Harmon for a few towns over at the mountain church that he pastors. Harmon and his wife have partnered with the Guevarra’s to see out the vision for Blossom Creek in this rural Honduran community.

Today was spent going even harder than the days before to wrap up as many projects as we can ahead of tomorrow’s inauguration day. Just as expected, the rain was present almost every minute of today. Even through the clouds, not one of us slowed down.

The build-site ended the day with just about every wall finished. As you have seen from the pictures, this area is located in a very dangerous position. Praise the Lord that there were no injuries or serious incidents other than the occasional tool slip! It has been a privilege to be a part of this specific project with this group of people around this very special part of the story.

Down at the training center was a hive of activity as the deck moved further to completion. Electricity was hooked up and the lights and one of our personal goals included the outside lights.

As finishing touches were added all over the place, the day wrapped up with a very special time deepening relationships with friends from all over the world who have been a part of the Blossom Creek story up to this point.

Relationships that will last a lifetime for His glory have been built this week!
