Experience Planning
With just under 40 acres of space, we have room to grow as the Lord leads.
God has equipped us with a spacious and freshly remodeled facility that enables an entire community with a revitalized desire for service!
To that, here’s a breakdown of how the facility is set-up today:
A- The Life Lodge
B- The Pine Pavilion
C- The Chapel
D- The Big Top
A- The Life Lodge
The first building you meet as you pull into the property is where you’ll find most of the indoor day-to-day activities.
With a variety of meeting spaces and overnight amenities, the Life Lodge as a whole is easily adaptable to meet a number of ministry needs.
In addition to the plethora of overall renovation upgrades, our commercial kitchen showcases both in-house and catering menus loaded with award-winning and scratch-made dishes and desserts!
B- The Pine Pavilion
Located at top of the round about, this dormitory style building contains 80 bunk beds (sleeping up to 160 people), 18 commodes, 20 sinks, and 16 showers!
The top and bottom levels mirror each other’s floor plan, leaving room to split up 4 different sections according to the ministry needs. Each section includes 4 large bedrooms (5 bunk bed sets in each), a shower room, and a restroom.
We’re thrilled to be able to say that the lower level now includes outdoor access to restrooms that now comply with ADA standards!
C- The Chapel
Fittingly, situated at the center of the Life Lodge and Pine Pavilion sets the heartbeat of why we do what we do.
The upper level contains the building’s namesake, the Chapel. Complete with 192 stadium style seats, stage, and a stationary audio/visual system, this space provides the perfect setting for a variety of corporate worship experiences.
The lower level contains more overnight accommodations, a large meeting space (including options for concessions and entertainment), and a small laundromat.
D- The Big Top
Nestled just above the Chapel sits the 2nd largest structure on the property.
This open-air recreation center provides a covered solution for outdoor meetings and activities of all shapes and sizes. Complete with a stage and electricity for lighting and a/v needs, this space is perfect to bring the inside out.
Future projects include enclosing this space, adding restrooms, a kitchenette, and more parking areas!

We rely on the help from community members to oversee the day-to-day tasks around the property. From lawncare, routine maintenance, and cleaning between groups, there is always an opportunity to serve behind the scenes.
Please contact us to find out how you can get involved.

Springs of Life Camp was organized in 1973 by a fellowship of 12 like-visioned churches who recognized the power of Bible Camping Ministries.
While the churches in the fellowship don’t look the same as they did in the 70’s, today Springs of Life Camp is still owned, maintained, and operated as an intentional ministry of the local churches, organizations, and families who comprise our membership.

From the time it was established in 1973, Springs of Life Camp has been owned, operated, and managed by the alumni of camping ministries in Patrick Springs, VA.
Since we are not owned or managed by the government of a larger organization, Springs of Life Camp is incredibly flexible to accommodate the needs for groups of almost all shapes and sizes.
Additionally, our philosophy of “Serving those who Serve” by aligning our ministry with local churches and associations who share the same passion for serving people, allows us the opportunity to ministry to families in ways that make them feel like they are at home.

Up until the last few years we could say that Springs of Life was all but “off grid”. Today, if you’re a T-Mobile subscriber (or use a device who shares their towers) then you’ll definitely have cell service. All other carriers are going to be hit or miss. We do have a landline onsite.
With our landline service we also have limited Wi-Fi access in certain locations around the property.
