Thank you for considering joining our Summer Camp Staff family at Springs of Life Camp and Retreat this Summer!
You’re here for one of only a few reasons and we are thrilled that you stopped by! Your role in our ministry enables Springs of Life Camp to be a vehicle to train up families to carry His Gospel into all the world (Mt. 28:19,20).
The primary objective of the Springs of Life Camp Summer Staff ministry team is to lovingly represent Jesus Christ in all that we do. We seek to serve others both “on and off-stage” by creating a safe place with minimal distractions for our Camping Ministry partners, which allows a greater opportunity to truly experience a vertically focused week of camp.
Our daily tasks include but are not limited to: interacting with campers and church/program leaders, washing dishes, participating in large group games/activities, scrubbing bathrooms, operating and instructing camp attractions, lawn care, light maintenance, youth counseling and relationship building, studying the Bible, using your talents for Jesus, and more!

This year, to help equip our Summer Camp Staff family with additional ministry tools, we are providing a special program for staffers to raise additional financial support to help supplement the cost of living and saving for future needs in lieu of a traditional “summer job or internship”.

Expectations for next-steps
Once your online application has been reviewed, someone will contact you to schedule a phone or Zoom video-chat interview
Please come to this interview prepared with your own questions too!
If you are selected to move forward after the phone interview, there will be a short series of additional reference and background checks.
If selected to join the Summer Camp Staff family, its important to know that Staffer orientation is scheduled for the middle of June 2024.
Summer Camp Scheduling Expectations
Here is the Summer Camp schedule as of 02/29/2024
June 16th-21st : Summer Camp Staff Orientation Week
June 23rd-29th : Adventure Camp for Christ (AWANA Camp)
July 7th-12th : Changing for Christ
July 21st-26th : Building 318 / Joys of Life (Super Week of Camp)
This still leaves availability on the calendar for other groups, including Family Camp’s, etc.
As we near Summer 24 and there are vacant weeks of Camp, we will adjust our staffing schedule accordingly or develop Day Camps for local families led by our own staffers.
